Our commitment.
Avenew is committed to making avenewre.com and our digital experiences accessible to people of all abilities. We design and build with the goal of meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and we test continuously to find and fix barriers.
What we do.
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy and ARIA attributes
- Color contrast that meets WCAG AA minimums
- Keyboard-only navigation across the entire site
- Alt text on meaningful images, captions on video where applicable
- Forms with explicit labels, error messages, and focus states
- Reduced-motion support for users with vestibular sensitivities
- Screen reader compatibility (tested with VoiceOver, NVDA)
Known limitations.
Some third-party content embedded in our site — including MLS listing data, video players, and external maps — may not always meet our accessibility standards. We work with our partners to improve and we always offer alternative ways to access the same information.
